               The post hits the door mat.

               Mr. Vista, in pyjamas, collects the letters, moves to the
               living room.



               INT. LIVING ROOM - MORNING

               Mr. Vista sits a a table, opens the first letter.

               It's his pay-slip.  A big smile on his face.

               Progress Bar: (2 Week Holiday) Zooms up to full.

               Mr. Vista opens another.  It's a bill.

               Progress Bar: (One Week Holiday) Falls a bit.

               Another letter, another bill.  Screws it up, throws it
               away.

               Progress Bar: (Two Weeks In Blackpool) Falls half way.

               Another bill.  Agitated.

               Progress Bar: (Two Weeks At Home) Down to a quarter.

               Yet another bill.  Did I really spend all that???

               Progress Bar: (A meal) Not much left now.

               Yet more bills.  Desperate now.

               Progress Bar: (A cup of tea) Almost gone.

               The last bill.  Close to tears.

               Progress Bar: Creeps into the red (You Owe The Bank)

               Mr. Vista sighs his resignation.

               INT. HALLWAY - MOMENTS LATER

               Mr. Vista dressed for work, briefcase in hand, sullen,
               lethargic, opens the front door.

               Progress Bar: (One Month) The line on the bar barely
               registers.

                                                            FADE OUT.
